The joy of the Christmas celebration when families and friends come together, combined with the hope, expectation and renewal of the coming new year are truly encapsulated in this remarkable work. To provide a joyous start to this Christmas season, we begin with Bach’s Cantata BWV 34 ‘ Ewiges fewer , then launch into his Orchestral Suites No. 3 in D major. We then crown the year and ring in the Christmas season with his Magnificat.

There will be two performances at 6:15pm and 8:15pm at Christ Church St Laurence.
