In June 2021, the 50th anniversary of our withdrawal from the conflict in South Vietnam, the Vietnam Requiem will be our first commemorative work that will be focused on living veterans and those directly affected by a war, including military and civilian medical staff, entertainers, journalists and photojournalists, the protest movement and those who fled to freedom as Boat People. The flower that represents this war is the lotus.
